It’s been a year since Bollywood’s power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in a private ceremony in Mumbai. And on their first wedding anniversary, Ranbir Kapoor has opened up about his struggles as a husband.

In an interview with Free Press Journal, the actor confessed that he does not consider himself to be a good husband and is constantly working on it. While fans have always adored the couple and praised Ranbir for being protective of Alia, the actor himself has a different view.

He said, “All the roles in my life are work in progress. I don’t think I am a great son, husband, or brother. But I think I have the desire to be better, and that’s important. As long as you are aware of it, you will be on the right track.”

Ranbir also acknowledged that life is not perfect and that he is trying to do better. He added that he feels good overall in life after marriage and that fatherhood has changed his perspective on things.

“I have always had a desire to be a father. And now that I am one, I realize that nothing matters more than my daughter. But everything matters so much more in life,” he said.

The couple, who welcomed their baby girl, Raha Kapoor, in March 2022, have been very private about their personal life. However, they have been vocal about their admiration for each other’s work and have been on a career high lately.

Ranbir’s last two films, Brahmastra and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, were box office hits, crossing the Rs 100 crore mark. Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji, has been announced as a trilogy, and the makers have promised an epic adventure.

On the other hand, Alia Bhatt has been making waves in the industry with her performances in films like Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR. She also produced the critically acclaimed film Darlings, which marked her debut as a producer.

The couple’s next projects have already generated a lot of buzz among fans. Ranbir will be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal with Rashmika Mandanna, while Alia has Heart of Stone with Gal Gadot coming up.
