The agreement, also known as The Shimla Agreement, marked the formal end of the 1971 India-Pakistan war and aimed to establish peace by addressing key issues such as the Kashmir conflict and improving bilateral relations. However, controversy continues to surround this event in India’s political history, making it a compelling subject for cinematic exploration.
