This time round, the most dynamic duo in the music industry, B Praak and Jaani have collaborated to bring to the audience the most beautiful track of the year, Jhaanjar from the movie Honeymoon. The film stars Gippy Grewal and Jasmin Bhasin in pivotal roles and through this track they take you down the beautiful journey that is, first love. The song from the Punjabi film features a classic setup of the Punjabi ‘khet’ and the age old but yet a favourite, falling in love on the ‘chatt’ (roof) of the house. Gippy and Jasmin’s chemistry is palpable and viewers are bound to have a smile on their face as they watch their love story unfold on the big screen. Add to this, B Praak and Jaani’s outstanding lyrics, music and composition and you have a sure shot winner!
“Jhaanjar is a beautiful song that will take you down memory lane and make you relive the feeling of first love. B Praak and Jaani have outdone theirselves with this track and the audience is going to absolutely love the song!” Says Gippy Grewal.
Adding to this, B Praak says “It was important to hit the right notes in such a song and yet lend a classic Punjabi touch. That’s what I thought of while making the music of the song. When I saw the video, Jasmin and Gippy had portrayed all the right emotions and I feel they did total justice to the song!”

Jaani further adds “Lyrics are very important to lend the right feel to any song. For Jhaanjar we wanted to portray innocent and pure love between two people and envisioning the same was what helped me write the lyrics and compose the song. The song is perfect for a family rom-com like Honeymoon and I hope the audience likes B Praak and my work!”
“It’s such a great feeling to have such amazing and talented people to work with! Honeymoon is my debut film and to have B Praak, Jaani and Gippy to work with is the icing on the cake. It was a lot of fun enacting the scenes in the fields and on the rooftop of the house, it gave me a true blue Punjabi feel. The song is simply amazing and one can listen to it on loop, I am sure!” says Jasmin.
