Sidharth Malhotra recently shared some heartfelt insights about the significant changes in his life since he and Kiara Advani welcomed their daughter, Saraayah, earlier this year. The couple became parents on July 15, 2025, and they joyfully introduced their little girl to the world with a touching Instagram post. Sidharth took a moment to explain the meaning behind her name and why Kiara has rightfully earned the title of “superhero” in their household.
During an event in Mumbai, Sidharth humorously remarked that he’s “never lost so many arguments to someone who can’t speak,” highlighting just how much influence a four-month-old can have over the entire family. He shared that their daughter’s name, Saraayah, has Hebrew roots and translates to “Princess of God.” With a smile, he mentioned that they wanted something “exotic and beautiful,” even if it’s not a traditional Hindi name.
Earlier this year, the couple hinted at their pregnancy with a sweet photo of tiny socks, and when they revealed their daughter’s name in November, they used those same socks to symbolize how their journey had come full circle. Their caption beautifully read, “From our prayers to our arms, our divine blessing, our princess, Saraayah Malhotra.”
Sidharth also expressed why he believes Kiara is the true hero of their family. He shared that witnessing her journey through pregnancy, childbirth, and all the physical and emotional changes has been a profound experience for him. He noted, “Men talk about courage and strength, but women actually live it when they become mothers.” He praised Kiara for managing everything with such grace, from sleepless nights to caring for their baby, while he does his part—whether it’s changing diapers, snapping photos, or simply keeping the home a happy and calm place.

He admitted that they were initially hesitant to announce their daughter’s name publicly, feeling that not every family moment needs to be shared. However, they eventually felt ready to make it official, wanting their fans to share in their joy.
