Often the educational qualifications of actors make headlines, and while we see enlightening education degrees, some have just made the cut as far as education goes. However, it’s a common belief in the industry that education can’t teach the art of acting. Actor Harjinder Singh who will be seen in the film Tipppsy feels otherwise. He believes basic education is a must, as it can shape one’s personality.
“I believe that academic qualifications are very important. Your knowledge and talent can take you far, but having a basic education teaches you the way things work. It enhances your ability to understand things. While learning from experience is valuable, formal education is crucial and very helpful,” he said.
The entertainment industry is the same as any other profession, and goodwill and references can work wonders here too. And Harjinder strongly agrees with it.
He said, “In this profession, I believe that good will and references make differences. Opportunities come quickly if you have a good network, but it’s also true that if it’s all about connections without talent, that network might not support you for long. It’s good to get work through good references, but you should also make sure to use that connection wisely.”
“Along with connections, remember to showcase your talent so that whoever gives you a chance later doesn’t regret their decision,” he ended.
