Bigg Boss Season 17 fame Soniya Bansal has had a passionate journey from Agra to Bollywood and the Telugu film Industry. She is all set to add more milestones in the New Year.
Before attending IIFA in Abu Dhabi, Soniya was in news for her fight with depression, but now she has found reason to get out of it with lots of hard work, happiness and love for her craft. “Currently, I have signed several exciting projects in both Bollywood and the Telugu film industry. I deeply admire both industries for their creativity and the opportunities they provide for aspiring artists like me. I will start shooting for the same around January- February 2025, “Saniya Bansal said, while sharing reasons for her excitement.
An MA from Agra University, Soniya moved to Mumbai to begin her career in the corporate world. However, her destiny and true passion led her to acting and the fashion industry. Soniya, who has acted in Dubki, Game 100 Crore Ka, Shoorveer and Dheera, is also a known face when it comes to music videos. She was last seen in a music video ‘Koi Baat Nahi’ alongside reality star Shiv Thakare.

May 1, 2026Soniya Bansal is going to add a new feather in her hat with her upcoming movie Chaar Kadam as a debutant story writer. Revealing about it, Soniya said, “I love watching movies not just in my free time but also during my travelling and whenever it is possible to watch. I have seen movies made in many languages and one thing I realised is that there are a lot of stories which need to be told and I came up with the story of ‘Chaar Kadam’. It's a story of many girls who come to metro cities like Mumbai from their small towns for better opportunities, like me and what all they go through.”
Soniya has not just written the story of the film but she is also playing the protagonist in the movie. She is looking forward to the release of this movie in the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
