May 23, 2026The gala premiere was attended by the film’s cast, including actor, writer, director, and producer Boman Irani, along with co-writer Alexander Dinelaris Jr, actors Avinash Tiwary, Shreya Chaudhry and Puja Sarup, Nikhil Madhok, Head of Originals, Prime Video India, producers Danesh Irani and Vikesh Bhutani. They were joined by Ms. Vrunda Manohar Desai, Joint Secretary (Films), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Smt. Delilah Lobo - Vice Chairperson, Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG). The team was also felicitated by Mr. Ajay Dhoke, General Manager, National Film Development Corporation.
Earlier this year, The Mehta Boys had its world premiere at the prestigious Chicago South Asian Film Festival where it won the Best Feature Film Award. It was later showcased at the International Film Festival of South Asia in Toronto, where actor Boman Irani won the Best Actor award for his powerful performance.
