Produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravie Dubey’s Dreamiyata Production, Junooniyat also features Ankit Gupta and Neha Rana in pivotal parts.
In a recent interview, Gautam expressed his excitement about being a part of this unique musical show. He said, “The concept is new and unique. This is the first time there’s a musical show being aired on TV which is a love story and has a lot of drama in it. The main focus is on music and I feel so happy and grateful to be on this journey.”
Talking about his character, Jordan, Gautam revealed that he shares some similarities with him. “We both are very much invested in our future and passion. Jaise Jordon ki junooniyat hai music waise hi meri junooniyat hai acting. Secondly, Jordan is very close to his mother, so am I. Thirdly, just like how Jordan tries to prove to his father that he chose the right path, even Gautam is trying to do the same.”

Gautam also praised the creativity and vision of the Dreamiyata team, and expressed his gratitude towards them for creating a comfortable working environment. “I love Ravie and Sargun. Honestly their creativity, vision is amazing. I always wanted to work with them and here I am. The working environment they have created makes everything so easy,” he shared.
Shooting for the show in Chandigarh was not easy, but Gautam said that the team made things work. He also revealed that he has seen a lot of changes in the industry in the past few years. “OTT is growing very fast and so many people are getting the opportunity to showcase their potential via the medium. Even social media is growing so much. That is how the industry and audience have changed. Now everyone is taking work more seriously and are focusing on the content in detail and being more real,” he said.
Junooniyat promises to be a refreshing addition to the Indian TV scene, with its unique blend of romance, drama, and music. The show is expected to capture the audience’s hearts with its captivating storyline and soulful music.
