I always wanted to do such a character. I also wanted to explore mythological characters because in
mythological shows each character has its own importance which is larger than life, and obviously, the
character of Agni Dev is very powerful with lots of variations, he is God of fire, a symbol of purity,
power, life, and destruction. You can say it is a package of different characteristics in a single character,
so without taking so much time I accepted the opportunity.

I worked on my body-building bit. As I have to present a very strong personality, I read a few books also
and stories of Agni Dev and studied his character’s characteristics. I practised meditation because it is a
very tough task to represent a God because your face and eyes tell everything which you are feeling inside
whether you are stressed, sad, excited, happy, or angry. But being a God even after having lots of power
and responsibilities you have to be balanced, and calm, and to stay stable in any situation to hold those
Godly expressions is the toughest task.
About Devaksh Rai and How he started his career.

Devaksh Rai was born on 29 January 1994, Bareli, Madhya Pradesh. His Father Antram Rai is an
Accountant and his mother Hari Rai is homemaker and brother is Satish Rai. He Completed his High
School and Higher Secondary from Bareli after that move to Bhopal and He pursued Bachelor degree in
Computer Science from Barkatullah University Bhopal and and Master of Business
Administration(MBA) Barkatullah University Bhopal. During this time he started his acting career with
Trikarishi Natya Sansthan Theater Group.
Since childhood, he was very fond of watching films and used to imitate the film scenes. When he was in
8th standard, he got a chance to act in a play in the school annual function. The name of that play was
Hila Hila Kar Pila directed by Manoj Dhakad. And he decided that I want to be an actor. After that move
to Bhopal and he started his acting career with Trikarishi Natya Sansthan Theater Group. His major plays
are “The Phoenician Women” Biju Seth, Biwi Mayke Gai, Andher Nagri, Kothri, The Barking Dog,
Naukar Biwi Ka and During this time he acted in more than 20 short films major short films Cyber
Crime, Some of which short films won awards at film festivals like, Studs, Cyber Crime, Second Hand
Shoe, Middle Class Dress, Missing Aarna. A bride. After that move to Mumbai, He made his Debut from
Episodic TV series “Vighnaharta Ganesha” and Played Important and major roles in Episodic shows,
Crime Alert, Savdhan India, Crime Stop, Jurm Aur Jazbaat.
What are your dream roles and with whom you like to collaborate?
I want to stay busy in shoots and to live always in front of the camera with good Directors.
I want to do roles that are larger than life characters which represent Shri Ram, Shri Krishna, and
Karn’s characters and I want to work with Akshay Kumar, Allu Arjun, and Amitabh Bachchan.
Apart from mythological, I want to do promising and different characters, like if someone will
offer to play Kalaam Saahab’s role, Subhash Chandra Bose, and Vallabh Bhai Patel, and about
dream role you know, there is no end to wishes!
