USA: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah creator and producer Asit Kumarr Modi, along with popular artists Dilip Joshi (Jethalal), Mandar Chandwadkar (Bhide), Sonalika Joshi (Madhavi), Balwinder Singh Suri (Roshan Singh Sodhi), Munmun Dutta (Babita), and Nitish Bhaluni (Tapu) arrived in the United States to participate in the Harmony in Heritage – India Day Parade 2026 in New York, organised by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA).
The team received a warm and enthusiastic response from fans upon their arrival and were also felicitated by the key officials of the FIA. Asit Kumarr Modi interacted with Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, Consul General of India in New York.

They will also participate in the Harmony in Heritage – India Day Parade 2026 on August 16 at 12:00 PM EST at Madison Avenue and E38th Street, New York City, with Asit Kumarr Modi as a Special Guest. The parade will bring together thousands of people through vibrant cultural performances, festivities and celebrations of Indian heritage.
