Filmmaker Jude Anthany Joseph’s Malayalam survival thriller film ‘2018’ had its massive pan-India release on Friday May 26th in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Winning hearts with its intriguing storyline and powerful performances, the film opened with an approx collection of Rs 1.7 crore which eventually saw a jump and made close to Rs 3.1 crore on the weekend.
Impressively, the surviver thriller film had earlier earned a massive of over ₹100 crore worldwide within just 10 days after its release. ‘2018’ earned a Kerala gross of around ₹50 crore on entering the third week of screening on May 19.
Further, film’s director Jude Anthany Joseph has now shared a new post revealing ‘2018’’ earnings in 25 days. As per the same, the film has earned a massive Rs 160 crore worldwide. With these numbers, the survival thriller has now officially become the highest earning Malayalam movie ever.
