Mumbai: Some friendships begin with colourful friendship bands, some with long conversations, and some simply grow stronger with time. While the way we celebrate Friendship Day may change over the years, the people who stand by us make every moment special. This Friendship Day, Sun Neo actors opened up about their fondest memories of the occasion and the friendships that have made their journeys even more meaningful.
Sharing his memories, Suraj Pratap Singh, who plays Prem in Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani, said, "Friendship Day always takes me back to my school days. I still remember how everyone would bring friendship bands to school and tie them on each other's wrists. It almost felt like a competition to see who had the most bands. I wasn't the one with the most because I've never really had a very large group of friends, but those memories are still very special to me. Talking about my current show, Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani, during the earlier phase, I shared a wonderful bond with Megha Ray. We connected instantly because our movie choices, music preferences, and many other interests were so similar. Now that she's no longer part of the show, the kids on set have become my closest friends, and they bring so much warmth, laughter, and joy to every day of shooting."
Ankita Bahuguna, who plays Anupriya in Thodi Si Umeed, Thoda Sa Aasman, shared, "Friendship Day always reminds me of my school and college days when my best friends and I would celebrate by visiting our favourite bakeries in Dehradun, driving along Mussoorie Road, and exchanging friendship bands and cards. Today, our bond has become so strong that we don't need a special day to celebrate it every meeting feels like Friendship Day. On my current show, Thodi Si Umeed, Thoda Sa Aasman, I'm friendly with everyone and share a great bond with Gaurav and Om. We enjoy fun moments between shoots, and I also love making funny reels with the crew, which keeps the atmosphere lively."
