On Rajesh Khanna’s 80th birth anniversary, actress Sneha Jain says that the late actor continues to entertain us through his work.
“He is a legend. He is not here but still alive in people's hearts because of his talent and the way he has entertained us. The cinema without a few legends is incomplete with him being one of them. One cannot imagine cinema without it. Indian cinema's conversation is incomplete without him. My mother was a fan, she watched her movies. I was a child but I have grown up watching his films. I can watch a few movies like Anand, Avtaar, Bavarchi, and Amar Prem again and again. His performances have been so amazing, you can relate to the character at some point,” she says.
He adds, “The best part of cinema is that we can still watch him in films and songs. He has left his mark through his work and we can feel him in our life through his work.”

Apr 4, 2026Talking about success, Sneha says that there needs to be a balance. “It depends but I believe one should not be just behind fame and success. All these things are part of your life it's not your life. The life you are living should enjoy and feel it but not let it control your mind and life. You will be left alone. If you are in the spotlight everyone wants to be around you but once you move out of it, nobody will be around you. It's a bitter truth of this industry. Work, fame, and success are a part of life but don't let it be your life,” she says.
She adds, “If you are on the top of a mountain and when you look down you will feel alone as there would be no one else. People would want to climb the mountain holding your hand but nobody would understand the hard work you have put in to be there. People want to be your friend because they want to gain from your success rather than being a friend. You feel empty and alone. I have experienced this personally too. I did the Star Plus show and people used to call and invite me to parties and meetings. When my show went off-air suddenly, they turned busy. At the end, your family will be the only one holding you and supporting you. All the miseries end looking at them. It's part of life and industry where you will be lonely and sad, how you deal is more important.
