Sara Khan of Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai & Hamari Adhuri Kahani fame will be seen in Shahid Kazmi directorial venture titled 1990, which is based on the issue of piracy that was rampant worldwide in the 90s.The movie will also feature Arjun Manhas and Mir Sarwar.
Describing her role in the film, she says "My character in the film is of a simple girl with a lot of responsibilities of her family. She loves watching films and is very filmi. I really enjoyed playing the character in the film"
Sara, who made her acting debut on television with Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai in 2007, has been since part of several TV shows, like Preet Se Bandhi Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, Junoon -- Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq, Sasural Simar Ka, Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Woh Apna Sa, Santoshi Maa -- Sunayein Vrat Kathayein and Spy Bahu. She has also explored the non-fiction genre by participating in reality shows like Bigg Boss 4, Nach Baliye 6 and Lock Upp.
