Ranndeep R Rai, an upcoming Bollywood actor, has expressed his thoughts on OTT platforms and the kind of work he would like to take up in the future. While Rai admits that everyone wants to do an OTT project, he is happy with the way his career is shaping up and will only consider taking up a project after careful consideration.
Rai believes that it depends entirely on an actor's mindset to take up a project, regardless of the platform. "Be it anything, if I feel it's a good project, lead role or not, or on any platform, I don't mind doing it," he says. He adds that while he would love to work on a good OTT project, he believes in destiny and is focusing on improving himself and his craft.
The actor also shared his views on the kind of content being made today, saying that makers create content based on audience demand, and he has no comment on it as long as the audience, makers, and actors are not facing any problems.

He believes that today's young generation, who have access to smartphones and the internet, are aware of everything happening in the world, including abuses, extramarital affairs, sex, and drugs. He does not believe that talking about these issues affects society as everyone is aware of them.
When asked about the kind of work he would like to take up on OTT platforms, Rai expressed his interest in playing grey characters with a touch of action and romance, similar to Kabir Singh.
Rai also believes that good work will always be rewarded, regardless of the actor's generation. He cites Shah Rukh Khan, who has been working since 1990 and is still a star today because of the kind of work he has selected.
