ABS-CBN, a leading media and entertainment organization in the Philippines, has partnered with MX Player, India's top over-the-top (OTT) platform, to bring its premium dramas to Indian audiences. This marks the first collaboration between the two companies, both of whom have a strong global presence.
ABS-CBN has been in the content creation and production business for almost 70 years and has international subsidiaries in various countries. Its content is available through cable/satellite, IPTV, and iWantTFC, an OTT platform. Meanwhile, MX Player has seen significant growth since its launch in 2019, with over a billion downloads to date. It is now available as an OTT platform in several countries.
MX Player's content category, MX Vdesi, has been performing well, and the addition of five premium Filipino dramas is expected to resonate with Indian audiences. The dramas are dubbed in various Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam and are available on desktop and laptop computers, tablets, mobile phones, smart TVs, internet-enabled devices, and gaming consoles.

The five dramas available for streaming on MX Player are The General’s Daughter, A Mother’s Guilt (Hanggang Saan), A Love to Last, Mea Culpa, and Love Thy Woman. The dramas cover a range of themes, from love and betrayal to crime and justice. MX Player users can now enjoy these premium ABS-CBN dramas, which are expected to be well-received by Indian audiences.
