Pro Panja League held a hugely successful tournament in Hoshiarpur, Punjab for North Indian arm wrestling athletes in their endeavour to promote arm wrestling or panja at the grassroots level as well. After many successful tournaments around the country, this celebration has doubled up with their very enthusiastic sessions at Hoshiarpur.
Athletes were brought in from all over North India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and some even reached in from the South from Telangana.The Champion of Champion titles in both men and women were won by Haryana athletes who are also Pro Panja League stars with the men’s trophy going to Karaj Singh Virk from Kaithal, Haryana and female trophy to Yogesh Chaudhary of Sonepat, Haryana. Overall most champs came from Haryana with many others belonging from Punjab, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
