It was an encouraging moment for showmaker and storyteller Rajan Shahi, whose show titled Anupama: Namaste America (by I Shahi Productions) which is a 12-episode prequel on Disney+ Hotstar is a hit much like the super successful Anupama (by Shahi Production Pvt Ltd) that airs on Star Plus. Rajan talks about the journey and expresses his gratitude for all the love being showered upon Anupama and Anupama: Namaste America.
“It’s one-of-its-kind experience,” he continues, “It’s very encouraging to know that Anupama produced by me and my mother (Deepa Shahi) under Shahi Productions Pvt Ltd. is the highest-rated show and is loved by all kinds of audiences across the country.” The 12-episode Anupama: Namaste America produced by me and my daughter (Ishika Shahi) was created with the same cast for OTT while the existing show Anupama was on air.
“It is definitely encouraging that an existing show with so many members worked simultaneously and successfully released the series under I Shahi productions( Rajan Shahi and Ishika Shahi) . So for us, it is very motivating to see that it has been among the top 12 mostly watched Hindi shows online.
