Ambuj Dixit, who has been seen in Damaged season 1, says that he loves winters as everything seems magical. The actor says that even though Mumbai doesn’t have severe winters, there is a slight change in the temperature.
“It will have to be winter. Cold weather brings people together, we yearn for warmth, love, and connection. The holidays deliver big family meals, endless gratitude, and it just seems like time moves a little bit slower than usual. When the first winter breeze blows through the trees, you can feel the magic in the air,” he says.
He adds, “In Mumbai, you don’t experience proper winters. So when the weather becomes pleasant, during the end of year in Mumbai, it’s my most favourite season. The air is colder and there is very less humidity, which makes you enjoy the beach more often. Travelling is more pleasant too.”

Apr 4, 2026Ask him his favourite travel destination during this time, and he says, “In India it would be Himachal, it’s one of the best destinations to experience winters and also it’s so beautiful. Abroad, it would be New York . It’s a city which has a similar energy to Mumbai plus the weather makes it one of my favourite destinations.”
However, taking time off is tough, says Ambuj. “In our profession, it’s tough but our profession sometimes also gives us that luxury to travel too on shoots to different cities or even different countries . So this is how I make up for it many times. If acting is my favourite thing, travelling will be the second most favourite thing. Since quite a while, I haven’t had the opportunity to travel but I’m looking forward to traveling more often. Travelling to different countries and cities is what attracts me a lot. My last proper trip was a few years back to the USA, but since then it has taken a pause,” he says
