Mumbai: Before there were traffic jams, fuel bills, and endless honking on the roads, there was a simple two-wheeler that brought freedom, joy, and fitness into people's lives the bicycle. Even today, in a fast-paced world, cycling remains one of the easiest and healthiest ways to stay active while also caring for the environment. On the occasion of World Bicycle Day, Ankur Bhardwaj, who plays Shaurya in Sun Neo's Satyaa Sachee, shared his love for cycling and why he feels it is more relevant than ever today.
Talking about his fondness for cycling, Ankur said, "Fitness is an important part of my life, and while I regularly go to the gym and follow a workout routine, I equally enjoy cycling. For me, cycling is not just a form of exercise but also a refreshing activity that helps me stay active and energized. It improves stamina, strengthens the body, and is also great for mental well-being. Whenever I ride a cycle, I feel relaxed and connected to nature, which makes it one of my favourite fitness activities.”
He further added, “These days, we often hear about global conflicts and tensions around the world, which can impact fuel prices and affect daily life. This is one of the reasons I feel cycling is becoming an even better option. It is economical, eco-friendly, and great for health. Since I am currently away from home shooting for Sun Neo's 'Satyaa Sachee,' I don't get much time to cycle, and I genuinely miss it. Whenever I go back home, one of the first things I like to do is take my cycle out for a long ride."
