Mumbai: Singer songwriter Bismil’s acclaimed live concert, Bismil Ki Mehfil, has been winning hearts across the country with its soulful music, poetic storytelling and emotionally rich performances. While the music forms the heart of the experience, it is the thoughtfully crafted visual direction by renowned Bollywood choreographer, director and entrepreneur Ankkitha Maithy that transforms each performance into a truly immersive artistic journey.
As the founder of Ankkitha Maithy FILMWORKS, Ankkitha has brought her signature creative vision to the concert in collaboration with Yours Eventfully and The Concert Production. Every aspect of the live experience from movement and staging to seamless transitions and theatrical storytelling has been carefully designed to complement the emotional depth of Bismil’s music. Rather than overshadowing the performances, the visual language enhances the storytelling, allowing audiences to connect more deeply with every lyric and emotion.
Beyond the stage, Ankkitha is also the co-founder of RUMBABAA, a contemporary café and cultural hub in Andheri, Mumbai, reflecting her passion for creating memorable experiences through art, hospitality, and storytelling. Her work consistently bridges creativity and emotion, making every project an experience rather than just a performance.
