Director Rajeev Shamlal Soni’s romantic film 'Dil Deewana Ho Gaya' is all set to hit theatres on July 31, 2026. The film's promo and music launch was recently held in Mumbai, where the cast and crew came together to celebrate the upcoming release.
Produced under the banner of Grandway Productions, the film marks the Bollywood debut of popular television actress Kajal Chauhan. She is joined by Bhanuj Sood and Shubhkaran Bhopal, who are also making their acting debut with the film. During the event, glimpses of the film's songs were showcased and received an enthusiastic response from the audience and guests.
Producer Ishpaul Singh Chawla, who hails from Ludhiana, Punjab, expressed complete faith in director Rajeev Shamlal Soni while backing the project. Interestingly, despite successfully completing the film, the producer and director never met each other in person during the entire filmmaking process.

Jul 12, 2026Director Rajeev Shamlal Soni shared that Dil Deewana Ho Gaya is a romantic family drama shot across Mumbai and Manali. He said, "The story revolves around love, emotions and relationships. A young man falls in love with a girl, but she is in love with someone else. Who she ultimately chooses forms the emotional core of the film. The music will also remind audiences of the melodious songs of the 1990s."
Kajal Chauhan said, "The journey from television to films is never easy. I have been given a wonderful role in this film, and I am grateful to the producer and director for believing in me. This is a film that the entire family can enjoy together."
Bhanuj Sood described the film as a major milestone in his career and said he is extremely excited about his debut. Meanwhile, Manali-based actor Shubhkaran Bhopal shared that shooting his first film in his hometown made the experience even more memorable.

Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan said, "I play the role of a doctor in the film. Rajeev is an old friend and has given me a wonderful character. I am confident that audiences will enjoy the film."
Actor and singer Aroon Bakshi appreciated the producer, saying, "I am also from Ludhiana, so I felt an instant connection. It was a pleasure working with the entire team, and the experience has been wonderful."
The film is being distributed across India by J.B. Pictures, headed by Karan Bhatia. 'Dil Deewana Ho Gaya' will release in cinemas nationwide on July 31, 2026.
