Renowned Actors Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, and Karan Deol Made Freshman Induction 2026 a Star-Studded

Jalandhar:  Cheers, applause and excitement filled Lovely Professional University (LPU) as renowned Bollywood actors Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta and Karan Deol interacted with LPU students during Freshers’ Induction 2026, turning the campus into a memorable setting of entertainment, conversations and celebration. The freshers enthusiastically enjoyed Sunny Deol’s live delivery of his iconic movie dialogues, along with candid exchanges, questions and memorable moments with the celebrated actors. The cast also spoke about and promoted their upcoming film Bantvara 1947.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, along with Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal, Pro-Chancellor of LPU, welcomed and honoured the guests. Adding to the interactive spirit of the occasion, the anchor hosted a special question-and-answer segment with the guests, inviting the actors to respond to a range of questions from the stage. The segment drew enthusiastic reactions from students, who cheered and applauded the actors’ responses.
Student-led music, dance and cultural performances and student talent in an atmosphere of celebration further complemented the interaction. The performances and conversations gave the freshers an opportunity to experience an engaging start to their university journey while witnessing some of the most recognisable names from Indian cinema on campus.
