Mumbai: Birthdays have become much simpler for Raavee Gupta over the years. The actress, who celebrates her birthday on August 5, is currently seen in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. This year, she isn't planning a lavish celebration. After balancing long shooting schedules for the daily soap, Raavee has decided to take a short break with her family and head to Udaipur, where she will celebrate her special day in a peaceful setting surrounded by her loved ones.
Sharing her birthday plans, Raavee says, "This year we're keeping it very small and intimate. No parties or big celebrations. My husband is taking me to Udaipur, which is one of my favourite places. We'll be staying at the Lake Palace, spending quality time with family. That's all I wanted. I've been shooting almost every day, so getting a little time away from work feels really special. Good food, the best company in the world, and a few peaceful moments are exactly what I'm looking forward to.
Interestingly, the actress admits she hasn't bought herself a birthday gift this year, but she believes she has already given herself something far more meaningful. "I honestly haven't had the time to think about buying myself anything," she says. "But when I look back at the last year, I feel I've already given myself the biggest gift. I've worked on my physical health, my emotional well-being, and I've made time for myself, not just as a mother, wife, or family member, but as Raavee. I've allowed myself to chase my ambitions again with complete dedication. That is worth much more than anything I could have purchased.

As you grow older, you realise that quiet moments and beautiful memories stay with you much longer. That's what I want this birthday to be about.
Professionally, Raavee says she feels fortunate to be a part of a show that carries such a strong emotional connection with audiences. "I'm extremely grateful that I got the opportunity to return through a show that has meant so much to so many people, including me. Stepping into a character that has been portrayed before comes with responsibility, so it feels wonderful to receive so much love and appreciation.
The actress says the response from viewers has been overwhelming and continues to motivate her every day. "I honestly didn't expect so much love. Every day I see messages and DMs from people telling me they like the character, and it genuinely makes my day. It's such a nice feeling when viewers accept you and connect with your performance. I'm just grateful that they're enjoying my work. It pushes me to work even harder, and I'm really looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me
