“Participants Experienced Deep Emotional Release at Anhad Session in Gurgaon,” Says Sound Healer Pooja Seth

Mumbai: In an age defined by constant motion, digital overload, and emotional fatigue, sound healer Pooja Seth is creating spaces where silence speaks louder than words. Her recent Anhad sound healing session in Gurgaon has sparked deep conversations around emotional release, inner awareness, and the power of sound as therapy.

Reflecting on the response, Pooja described the experience as “overwhelming in the most beautiful way.” Participants did not just attend a session; they underwent a profound internal shift. “People shared that the release they experienced was something they had never felt before. It was not just relaxation, it was emotional cleansing,” she said.

What stood out most was the silence that followed. “After the session ended, no one wanted to speak. Usually, people rush to check their phones or start conversations, but here, they chose stillness. That silence itself showed how deeply they were connected to their inner state.”

One particularly moving incident highlighted the transformative potential of such sessions. She recalled how a participant initially struggled. “She told me she could not continue and felt uncomfortable. When I gently explored the reason, she admitted she had a fear of darkness. I reassured her that she did not need to wear the eye mask, but as the session progressed, something shifted within her. She stayed, trusted the process, and by the end, she had overcome that fear. These are the moments that remind me why I do this work.”

Despite such powerful outcomes, Pooja acknowledged that introducing sound healing to a wider audience comes with its own set of challenges. “The biggest hurdle is not skepticism, but unfamiliarity. People simply do not know how to ‘be’ in such sessions. We are so conditioned to control everything that surrendering feels uncomfortable. Letting go, trusting the process, and allowing emotions to surface is something many are not used to.”

She emphasized that this difficulty is closely tied to modern lifestyles. “Today’s world is extremely fast-paced. People are achieving more, doing more, and constantly moving ahead. But in that process, they are losing connection with themselves. They do not pause to ask what they are feeling or why they feel a certain way. Inner stillness has become rare.”

According to Pooja, this disconnection is exactly why practices like sound healing are becoming essential rather than optional. “Peace is not something external. It already exists within us, but it gets buried under stress, noise, and constant stimulation. These sessions help people reconnect with that quiet space inside.”

While each Anhad session is rooted in a consistent framework, no two experiences are the same. “The foundation remains cleansing, grounding, conscious breathing, and deep relaxation. But I intuitively adapt each session based on the group’s energy,” she explained.

In the Gurgaon session, she introduced live elements of flute and sitaar, which elevated the experience further. “Our mind never truly switches off. Even when we think we are resting, thoughts continue in the background. Instruments like the flute and sitaar have a very soothing frequency. They gently guide the mind into a calmer state. This addition was deeply appreciated by everyone.”

Looking beyond Gurgaon, Pooja Seth has already begun expanding her work to other cities. “I have received calls from Mumbai, Pune, Ludhiana, and Kolkata to conduct sessions,” she shared, adding, “the rest is in the hands of Mata Rani.”
