Mumbai: While today's generation is often hooked to the latest rap beats, trending reel songs, and new-age music, young actor Hanish Kaushal enjoys listening to and singing old Hindi classics. Currently seen as Nirmaan in Sun Neo's Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani, Hanish feels a special connection with these timeless melodies. Recently, the young actor opened up about the reason behind his love for old songs
Sharing his memories, Hanish says, “Music has always been one of my favourite things to do with my Dadu. He is a part of a senior citizens’ club in Delhi, where they have a karaoke group and regularly organize karaoke evenings and light dinner gatherings at each other’s homes. Whenever there is a family get-together, Dadu always encourages me to join in and sing with everyone. Because of him, I have developed a love for old Hindi songs at a very young age. While many children my age may not know these classics, I enjoy listening to and singing them because I have grown up hearing them with my Dadu. Those moments are very special to me and have created some of my happiest memories. I truly miss singing with him these days as I am in Mumbai shooting for Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani, but whenever I get time, I look forward to going back home and enjoying our musical sessions together.”
