Mumbai: Rhythm Sanadhya, who is a popular song director and has worked with singers and artists like Shahid Mallya, Jubin Nautiyal, and Asees Kaur, among others, and directed Har Safar Mein from Kapil Sharma's movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, among others, recently directed Ishq Zalim Hai featuring Aditi Sharma. She is all praise for the actress and shared that she is the kind of performer who makes a director's vision come alive.
Rhythm said, "Aditi is a very gentle yet strong person, and I could see my character reflected in her. "The girl in my video is loving, caring, and soft-hearted, but she eventually falls prey to betrayal. She carries the weight of that pain, hatred, and heartbreak within herself and chooses to walk away with dignity rather than cleaning up the mess created by others. In the video, we witness two sides of Aditi, one that is gentle, loving, and compassionate, and another that is intense, aggressive, and consumed by her emotions."
She had an amazing experience on set and mentioned that the overall vibe was incredibly positive. She said, “Despite working on such an emotional and heartbreaking song, there was a lot of laughter and warmth throughout the shoot. Both my artists, Hamd Khan and Aditi Sharma, were extremely easy and comfortable to work with, which made the entire process even more enjoyable."

May 28, 2026But the decision to cast Aditi had not been a spontaneous one. Rhythm had recognized something in her long before the song came into the picture. She said, "Aditi is an intelligent artist who deeply understands emotions. We became good friends, and when I met her for the first time, I instantly noticed the depth she carried within herself. Not only does she understand emotions, but she expresses them beautifully too.”
“During our conversations, I realized that she holds an entire ocean of feelings within her, and that was the moment I knew I wanted to cast her in one of the most emotional tracks. Ishq Zalim Hai happened much later after that. I was simply waiting for the right time,” she added.
Rhythm is all praise for Aditi and said, “She was an absolute sport on set and was deeply involved in every scene of the song." In fact, during the final scene where the girl is dying, Aditi completely outdid herself with her performance. She poured herself into every emotion so naturally and intensely that we simply followed her energy throughout the scene."

Who is the mystery man in Soniya Bansal’s life?
May 28, 2026One moment from the shoot, however, stands apart from the rest. Rhythm said, "I still remember the shooting day when Aditi was actually extremely unwell. After spending the entire day on set, I was genuinely worried about how she would manage the final scene, especially because it demanded intense emotions, loud crying, fireworks, and a very serious performance. I knew the scene required far more emotional strength than it appeared. But to everyone's surprise, Aditi performed brilliantly. She delivered the scene with such honesty and intensity that no one on the set could even realize that she wasn't feeling well at all."
Ultimately, what made Ishq Zalim Hai possible was not just talent but the understanding between a director and her actor over time. Rhythm said, "To execute a song like this, it is very important for the actor and the director to share the right understanding and emotional connection.”
“Aditi and I spent a lot of time discussing emotions, sharing experiences, and understanding the journey of the characters. We carefully studied the lyrics and the music of the song so we could truly feel the soul of it. That deep collaboration and emotional honesty are what helped us create Ishq Zalim Hai the way you see it today,” she ended
