In today’s fast-paced world, finding peace and spirituality can be a challenging task. However, the teachings of saints and the practice of kirtans have provided a way for individuals to connect with their spirituality and find inner peace. With this goal in mind, Shemaroo Marathibana has been hosting the program ‘Gajar Maulicha’ for the past three years, featuring renowned kirtankars from Maharashtra. This year, Fursungikars will have the opportunity to be a part of this program and participate in it free of charge.
The Gajar Maulicha program will take place from 12th to 17th March in Harpale Vasti, Bhekrainagar in Fursungi. The audience will have the chance to hear from many renowned kirtankars who will be presenting the stories of Bhagavata, instructive interesting stories from Puranas, Abhang, Ova in a very interesting way through their sermons and kirtans.
Participants will be able to hear from kirtankars such as H.B.P. Supriyatai Sathe, H.B.P. Santosh Paygude Maharaj, H.B.P. Babaji Chalak Maharaj, H.B.P. Samadhan Maharaj Bhojekar, H.B.P. Gajanan Dada Shastri, H.B.P. Sanjaynana Dhondge Maharaj, and Sandipal Maharaj.
The program will kick off on March 12th with H.B.P. Supriyatai Sathe’s narration of the greatness of Gudhipadwa festival and related stories. H.B.P. Santosh Paygude Maharaj will then talk about Maharashtra Day and the culture, customs, and traditions of Maharashtra. On March 13th, H.B.P. Babaji Chalak Maharaj will present the saga of Saint Chokhamela Samadhi ceremony and the saga of Saint Chokhamela and his life through his kirtan. H.B.P. Samadhan Maharaj Bhojekar will present a kirtan reviewing the life of Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar on the occasion of her birth anniversary.
H.B.P. Gajanan Dada Shastri will narrate the stories of bravery, prowess, and humanity of Swarajya Rakshak Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj on his birth anniversary on the same day. On March 15th, H.B.P. Sanjaynana Dhondge Maharaj will tell interesting stories of Hanuman through his kirtan. The audience will also have the opportunity to hear from Sandipal Maharaj, who carries forward the legacy of Satyapal Maharaj’s Saptakhanjiri playing and enlightens the audience with his unique style of discourse.
The program ‘Gajar Maulicha’ has become extremely popular among the audience, providing entertainment through spirituality. With the program now taking place in Fursungi, audiences from the surrounding areas will have the opportunity to participate in this event. Admission to the program will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and no ticket or entry fee will be charged. The episodes filmed in Fursungi will also be telecast on Shemaroo Marathibanaa channel from March 27th, so the channel has appealed to a maximum number of viewers to participate in the program.
