Mumbai: Singer-writer Hanita Bhambri’s first interaction with Rocking Star Yash took place at the music launch of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, where she performed the film’s title track. Hanita has sung and written the lyrics for the song, composed by Vishal Mishra. The track came together at short notice, with Hanita recording it just two days before the music launch, so she and Yash did not meet during the making of the song. Their first interaction happened at the launch itself.
After her performance, Hanita shared a light moment with Yash on stage when the host asked her what came to mind when she looked at him. Keeping it tongue-in-cheek, she said she was speechless and had simply got lost in his eyes.
Later at the event, Hanita spoke to Yash briefly, with the actor appreciating the song and her vocals and wishing her the best for her career. He also wished her mother on her birthday and clicked a few pictures with them.

I recorded it just two days before the music launch, so we met for the first time at the event. He was very encouraging about the song and my vocals and wished me the best for my career. He also wished my mother on her birthday, which was a very sweet gesture. I found him to be very warm and grounded.”
Hanita continues to build on her work as a singer-songwriter, with several of her recent releases adding to her growing body of work. Following her association with Toxic, she is now gearing up for her next project, details of which will be announced soon
