Renowned astrologer and tarot card reader Rinhee Suberwal believes that no one walks alone on their journey of life. While talent, dedication, and ambition are important, she feels that true growth often comes through the wisdom and guidance of mentors. Opening up about the influences that have shaped her path, Rinhee reflects deeply on how these figures helped her become the person she is today.
For her, the most profound mentor has been her grandmother, Mrs. Manjula Dasgupta. Rinhee describes her as both an angel and a strict teacher. “She always made me understand that life never turns out the way you want it to turn out. You need to learn the hardest possible lessons through life and become a better student of life. We come here as students in this university to learn and unlearn so many things, and it is extremely important for us to understand that,” she shares.
These lessons, though sometimes tough, became the foundation of Rinhee’s resilience. “Those words stayed with me. They made me stronger. I truly believe my Nani’s guidance has been the foundation of who I am today.”

As her career in the entertainment and spiritual industry flourished, Rinhee also found inspiration in mentors outside her family. She recalls with admiration the impact of legendary figures like Shamak Dawar and Prabhu Deva, who influenced her artistic side and supported her journey. “They have all helped me in my journey of being in the industry,” she notes.
Rinhee further highlights the influence of her Maasi, actress Jayati Bhatia, whose advice gave her clarity during difficult moments. “She has been a disciplinarian. She always told me that you have to be happy, because you cannot make everyone happy. You have to stand for your rights, and you must love yourself before you want the world to love you.”
