Director-choreographer Saurabh Prajapati, who is known for his work across platforms for films, music videos, commercials, fashion shows, has also worked with star cricketers of the country for IPL. Sharing his experience Saurabh says,”I was 20 years old when I did the IPL commercials and worked with all the great players. They all are living legends right now and role models for millions. I have worked with names like MS Dhoni , Rohit Sharma , Yuvraj Singh , Hardik Pandya , Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina.”
He adds,”It was so much fun working with them and making them dance in front of the camera.
I remember one funny incident when I was explaining the shot to MS Dhoni sir that you have to walk and do your signature helicopter shot with your bat. Then he told me show me how exactly you want me to do it. I was like how would I know the master shot from the master himself! I remember from that shoot Rohit Sharma , Hardik Pandya and Yuvraj Singh - they were vibing a lot and enjoying the whole experience.
Initially when we just started shooting, Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh were very reserved and Hardik Pandya was chilled out and relaxed. But after a point, Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh eased-out and started having fun on the shoot.”
Saurabh feels the experience of working with world class cricketers made him a much better professional at work. Saurabh is currently busy with the tour of singer Neha Bhasin which he is exclusively choreographing and directing.
