New Excelsior Theatre, Mumbai’s Iconic Venue with the Largest Screen, Hosts the Trailer Launch of Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s 'Loveyapa

 
Mumbai’s iconic New Excelsior Mukta A2 Cinemas recently hosted the highly anticipated trailer launch of Loveyapa, a film that is garnering much love for its title song and the trailer.
 
With the grand theatre as its backdrop, the event proved to be an unforgettable evening—one that seamlessly combined nostalgia and excitement.
 
The New Excelsior Mukta A2 Cinemas, with its history and grandeur, Known for its massive screen and the largest seating capacity of 596, was the ideal venue for such a special occasion. 
 
In fact, the venue holds a special place in Bollywood history, having hosted the premiere of Aamir Khan’s debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak back in 1988. This made the event even more symbolic, as Loveyapa marks the theatrical debut of Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid.
 
The trailer was unveiled before an audience of over 300 special guests, including media, influencers, and students, all of whom were eager to witness the chemistry between Junaid and Khushi. The students, many of whom were invited for their relatable connection to the film’s themes, enjoyed the event unfolding infront of their eyes.
 
Loveyapa starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, explores themes of trust, relationships, and the evolving dynamics between young lovers. The plot revolves around Gucchi and Bani, a young couple whose relationship faces a test when Bani’s father challenges them to swap their phones to see how much they trust each other. As their phones reveal buried secrets, the couple’s faith in each other is put to the ultimate test.
 
The event also featured a unique collaboration with Burger King, which served a special Loveyapa combo to all attendees, further enhancing the fun and casual vibe of the evening. 
 
Srishti Behl, CEO of Phantom Studios, spoke about the thought behind doing the event at New Excelsior cinemas. "When we were planning the trailer launch, we wanted a venue that was both historic and iconic—something that would tie together the past and the future. New Excelsior, with its incredible legacy and its connection to Aamir Khan's debut, felt like the perfect location to introduce Loveyapa."

Produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, Loveyapa is slated to release on February 7th.
