On its eighth Saturday, the film raked in an estimated Rs 6.50 crore, bringing its total for the weekend to Rs 9.50 crore after just two days. That Saturday figure alone surpasses the previous record for an entire eighth week, making this achievement all the more impressive.

Hanuman Ansh has now officially outdone the long-standing eighth week record set by Gadar, Ek Prem Katha. The Sunny Deol classic managed to pull in around Rs 4 crore net during its eighth week over two decades ago, but Hanuman Ansh has blown past that in just 48 hours.

What’s particularly remarkable about this journey is that the film didn’t start with a bang. After a slow start in its opening weeks, Hanuman Ansh gradually gained traction, delivering much larger collections in its fourth, fifth, and sixth weeks.
In Week Four, it collected around Rs 58.25 crore, followed by Rs 84.75 crore in Week Five and Rs 76.75 crore in Week Six. Even in its seventh week, it remained strong, adding another Rs 43.75 crore to its tally.
Now, all eyes are on that Rs 300 crore milestone. With about Rs 16.25 crore left to go, the film is well within reach of yet another major box office achievement.
