On Day 2, Batwara 1947 grossed about Rs 13.50 crore nett in India. This impressive surge coincided with Independence Day, which seems to have resonated well with audiences, especially given the film's focus on the Partition of India.

Early estimates for Day 3 indicate around Rs 1.40 crore already rolling in, but the final numbers are expected to climb as the day unfolds.
