Renowned astrologer and healer Rinhee Suberwal believes that spiritual tools like crystals, mantras, and visualization are powerful only when used with the right intention and guidance. According to her, misuse and misinformation around these practices often do more harm than good.

Advising caution while choosing crystals, Rinhee says, “You should always be under the guidance of a healer or astrologer. You should never wear a gemstone without direction. I have seen people buying crystals online because someone advertises that pyrite is good for everyone. It is not. Everything depends on your horoscope and your specific requirements.”

On visualization and prayer, she offers a deeper perspective. “Positive affirmations, visualization boards, practicing the Law of Attraction, and surrounding yourself with positive people are conscious practices everyone should maintain. But we often pray in the wrong manner. If you ask God for a bigger position, you are given obstacles so you can grow to that level. Instead, you should pray for a blessed life, trusting that you are on the right path,” Rinhee explains.

She stresses that intention is the foundation of all spiritual practices. “The intent matters most. If your intentions are wrong, no matter how much you pray, it will not work,” she says.

Rinhee also addresses the growing lack of respect toward healers. “People accuse healers of being money-minded or business-oriented, especially in the Latter Day of the Law. That is not true. Healers come from families. They are someone’s child, spouse, or parent. They work for the benefit of the community, believing that by helping others, their own family will be blessed,” she shares.

Warning against backbiting and disrespect, she adds, “You go to a healer or astrologer to seek blessings, but if you spread rumors about that person, the remedies will not work. Backbiting is counterproductive. You must be karma-conscious and aware of what you are doing to others.”

Concluding her thoughts, Rinhee reminds people of the traditional guru-shishya bond. “Healers give their lives to help people. They deal with negative forces and spiritual attacks daily. You cannot expect them to be calm all the time. Healers are not servants. They should be respected as gurus. Without respect and right intention, no crystal, mantra, or visualization will benefit you,” she says.
