In 90’s Gurcharan Saggu had come from England to produce a film. One time at his native place Nakodar in Punjab, Saggu used to paint filmi banners and while doing so he was inspired to become film producer. Later he went to England, earned lots of money in garments business and one fine day landed in Mumbai to turn his dream into reality.
He signed Jackie Shroff and Neelam for the film titled “Chauthi Duniya” and the director was Sunil Ghosh. When the film reached on editing table the editor was confused about from where to start as according to him the film had no head or tail. Later Saggu assigned director Sukhwant Daddha to repair the damage. The director first of all changed the name of the film. Now the new name of the film was Antim Nyay. The film was reshot extensively and this cost huge amount. Saggu had to pay the price of his misadventure as his house was sold and his business too suffered badly.
In this 208 pages book he has written in details how he was duped in film industry.
This book works as lighthouse to those who want to come to film industry.
The good news is seeing the tremendous response now the book will come out in English and Hindi too.
According to Saggu this book has all the ingredients to make an interesting film too.
