Vikrant Massey is back with his newest project, The Sabarmati Report, after the success of 12th Fail. On Thursday, the eagerly anticipated teaser was finally unveiled by the makers. The story centers on the sad 2002 tragedy that happened near the Godhra train station in Gujarat, where 59 Hindu pilgrims perished in a fire aboard the Sabarmati Express. Famous actors Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra are also heavily featured in the movie.

With a duration of one minute and eight seconds, the teaser showcases Jawan actress Ridhi Dogra and Yodha star Raashii Khanna. It takes viewers to the media’s on-location reportage of the February 27, 2002, Sabarmati Express fire in Godhra, Gujarat, which unfortunately resulted in the deaths of 59 passengers.

Samar Kumar, played by Vikrant, is a Hindi journalist who works with a senior anchor played by Ridhi Dogra and another reporter played by Raashii Khanna. They discover the truth about the Godhra tragedy together, concluding that it was not only an accident but rather a planned attack on the pilgrims.
