He had been caught up in a whirlwind of long hours, constant travel, and hotel stays, all while his son was growing up. The hardest part for Vikrant was realizing that many of his precious moments with his child were being experienced through a phone screen.

Choosing to prioritize family, he returned home and spent about seven months there. Interestingly, after soaking in that family time, he found himself missing work and decided it was time to jump back in.
Vikrant had announced his break in December 2024, expressing a desire to be more present with his family. Yet, since then, his career hasn’t slowed down at all. He’s been involved in projects like Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, O Romeo, Pritam and Pedro, and now Musafir Cafe.

Instead, Vikrant simply wanted to step back long enough to reconnect with what truly mattered to him beyond his career.
