Mumbai: In a recent video on his page, Anjanay opened up about his Roadies audition this year. Despite giving his best, he wasn't selected. But instead of treating it as a failure, he treated it as market research.
"Roadies gives you content. The audition, the struggle, the journey — that's all content. But I realized, if content is king, then distribution is God," shares Anjanay. "They didn't select me, but they gave me the biggest insight of my career."
Known for his bold and unfiltered confidence, he adds, "Not having me on board? It's your loss, not mine. Because I don't just chase fame, I build it."

Oct 15, 2026That insight became the foundation of *FameXcess Media*, his PR firm that is now a pioneer in a space no one noticed — PR for reality TV shows.
While traditional firms run behind Bollywood A-listers, Anjanay spotted the real gap. Artists from shows like Roadies and Splitsvilla trend overnight but have no system to sustain that buzz after the show ends. FameXcess Media became that system.
The proof came in Splitsvilla X5, where Anjanay and his team managed PR for 12 artists from the same season — handling their narrative building, social media amplification, Twitter trends, and digital PR. It was unprecedented for any independent agency to hold that kind of share in a single reality season.
