Renowned VastuShastri expert Khushdeep Bansal has shared his journey of embracing the Hindi language and the profound importance it holds in his life. While Hindi was not his native tongue, he was inspired by a mentor and recognized the immense potential of the language.
Khushdeep Bansal hails from Punjab, where his early education was conducted in the Punjabi medium. It was during his engineering studies, which initially began in Punjabi and later transitioned to English during the 11th and 12th grades, that he was introduced to the Hindi language. However, it was a momentous encounter with Shri. Kuppahalli Sitaramayya Sudarshan in Hyderabad around 1989-1990 that left a lasting impact on him. Hearing Shri. Sudarshan speak in Hindi inspired Bansal to embark on a journey to learn the language.
As Khushdeep pursued his engineering education in Maharashtra, he dedicated himself to mastering Hindi. His mentor, Dr. Chandragupt Varnekar, who was proficient in Marathi, Sanskrit, and a fusion of Sanskrit and Hindi, played a pivotal role in his linguistic journey. During their engineering college days when they were preparing for the GRE test to study abroad, they diligently worked on expanding their English vocabulary. Similarly, Bansal decided to apply the same rigorous approach to learning Hindi.
