Kate Sharma recently walked the ramp for Fashion Designer Mehul Suthar. The Saath Nibhana Saathiya actor, who looked resplendent in the red and gold bridal lehenga, was the showstopper of the evening. Actor Taher Shabbir too accompanied her on the ramp.
“This was my first time as a showstopper and was definitely a great experience. Initially, I was a little nervous, but when I started walking the diva inside me slowly started gaining confidence. And, things went gracefully well,” she smiles.
Kate has this sexy glamorous image and for a change, she dressed traditionally for this show. Her fans got excited to see her in this avatar and have been sending love and positivity.

Apr 7, 2026“I wear traditional clothes very often, my fans love sarees on me. I am glad that they also loved me so much in bridal lehenga. Mostly, I prefer western outfits because it’s very easy to wear and manage and keep Indian wear for special occasions. But all my fans love to see me in silk saree, bindi, jhumkas and all,” she adds.
Kate’s fashion knowledge came in handy when she walked the ramp. “I know what will look good on me and prefer keeping it hot yet classy and cute. Whatever you wear, if you wear it with full confidence everything else looks perfect. That’s my mantra too,” says the actor, who is open to doing more such fashion events.
