From Miss Prayagraj to Mumbai Sets: Vidushi Tripathi Is Exploring Every Side of Showbiz
Mumbai has a funny way of introducing newcomers to the entertainment industry. Sometimes you come looking for one thing and end up doing five different things before you even realise it. That has pretty much been the case with 22 year old Vidushi Tripathi, who came to the city from Prayagraj in 2024 after winning the Miss Prayagraj title in 2022.
Vidushi started with modelling, but Mumbai soon took her behind the camera as well. She worked as a floor director on Shark Tank India, getting a chance to understand how a set works before stepping into acting herself. That experience became a different kind of learning for her, especially as she later began exploring acting and creative work.
Her acting credits include Pocket Mein Aasmaan and Pyaar Ki Raahein, along with a role as an Apsara. She has also entered the vertical drama space, having worked on three projects with Kuku and now taking up work with Rocket Reels. Alongside this, she continues to do modelling assignments, brand shoots and UGC projects.
More recently, Vidushi worked as a creative on Shekhar Tonite. So, her work in Mumbai has not really followed one straight route. She has worked behind the camera, faced it herself and also been involved in the creative process. For someone who is still a fresher in acting, that mix has given her a chance to see quite different sides of the same industry.
There are more projects lined up for her, while she continues to look for acting opportunities and work across digital content and modelling. Her career is still at an early stage, but the two years she has spent in Mumbai have already given her a fairly interesting list of experiences. And now, with acting becoming a bigger part of what she wants to do, it will be interesting to see which role finally gives audiences a proper introduction to Vidushi Tripathi.
