Renowned choreographer Rajit Dev recently shared his experience of choreographing Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shehnaaz Gill in the song 'Yaar Ka Sataya Hua Hai', which has gained 13 million views and is trending at #2 on YouTube. Rajit, along with the same team that worked on the popular song 'Baarish Ki Jaaye', worked on this project.
When asked about the most challenging part of choreographing the song, Rajit mentioned that he enjoys working on songs like these as they allow him to make the choreography interesting yet simple and effective, enabling the audience to easily connect with it.
Speaking about working with Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the second time, Rajit expressed his appreciation for the actor. Despite not being known for his dancing skills, Nawazuddin made the experience great. Rajit mentioned their previous collaboration on 'Baarish Ki Jaaye', which was a huge hit, and how he ensured that the hook step in this song would look good on Nawazuddin. Being a brilliant actor, Nawazuddin added his own style and made the steps his own.

May 30, 2026Regarding Shehnaaz Gill's presence in the music video, Rajit explained that they couldn't incorporate her dance due to the character and the director's brief. However, he mentioned that he came up with an idea on set and had her do beautiful twirls around Nawazuddin, creating a dream sequence. Rajit praised Shehnaaz's vibrant presence and stated that this was his second project with her, with the other one being a superb song as well.
The team completed the shooting for 'Yaar Ka Sataya Hua Hai' in just two days. Rajit also expressed his admiration for working with B Praak and Arvindr Khaira, with whom he had collaborated prior to this project. He described them as a dream team and highlighted the wonderful bond they share. Rajit praised Arvindr Khaira for allowing him to take charge on set and being receptive to his ideas and suggestions. He also mentioned the mutual respect he shares with B Praak. The song is the second from the album, following 'Kya Loge Tum' with Akshay Kumar and Amyra Dastur, which is also a current hit.
