Set against the backdrop of Partition, the film shows how history changed many families and how its impact is still felt today. As different characters meet along the way, the story explores love, belonging, sacrifice, healing, and the deep connection people have with their homeland. The film has a strong personal touch, as it is inspired by real-life moments and experiences from producer Sammy Nanwani’s own journey. This personal connection adds honesty, warmth, and emotional depth to the narrative, making the story more real and relatable.
