In the U.S. alone, advance ticket sales have been strong, with over 18,000 tickets sold across approximately 1,850 shows in 695 locations, raking in more than USD 470,000. This strong start is noteworthy, especially since Hindi films typically don’t rely as much on overseas premieres compared to their South Indian counterparts, which often see bigger initial sales.
While War 2 is currently trailing behind Rajinikanth’s Coolie in the North American market, it’s still in a great position for a strong debut, particularly in Hindi-speaking areas where it’s expected to shine.
