Mausam Dubey, who will be seen playing The Lead Actor in the web series Ishqiyoun, produced by Himanshoo A Pathak and directed by Payal Saxena, is confident that the series will be loved. The actor adds that the concept is unexplored on the web at the moment and people will be able to relate to it well.
“Ishqiyoun is a different concept and we have tried our best to give the audiences a reason to smile, laugh, cry and enjoy their time. OTT is giving a lot of chances, not only to the audiences but also to actors, producers, and directors out there. We are making more projects for the audiences and every project adds value. It's our duty to provide them with entertainment. OTT is the new big thing in the film industry. We all are one industry whether it's film web series or television we are a family who works for the audience,” he says.
He adds that OTT has a lot of different content for the audiences to enjoy. “So as I always say we as an actor works for the audience, what our audiences need we try our best to give them. Yes, OTT provides a wide variety of content to audiences. I don't feel audiences are choosy. It's up to the project and the team how we are presenting our work to the audiences. They want to see something new and different all the time so as actors, producers, and directors, it’s not only our work, it’s our duty to give them what they want. We as a team have tried to give them something new with Ishqiyoun,” he says.
