Riya Goon, a young entrepreneur organized “The Korean Affair 2022”, an event dedicated to BTS fans ARMY in India & around the world. Owner of Bang Tan Shef’s Cafe & Restaurant, 28 year old Riya Goon quotes saying* “I always aspired to help people and help any human in need. Since my college I have been looking for inspiration that drives me towards my career path. Surprisingly my teenage sister became my sole inspiration. Since the very beginning she taught me the meaning of love for the boys in BTS and the valuable lesson of loving yourself first. We are celebrating BTS & Army today, this event is dedicated to each & every BTS fan in India & around the world”
Riya lays emphasis on the paramount objective of the event which is ‘generating mental health awareness’ amongst people “Our main objective of the event is to educate and spread awareness about the mental illnesses in youth and how masses suffer from it alone. Mental illness is more common in teens than you think and many types of mental illness are treatable if we extend a helping hand to them on time. We want them to know they are not alone, and there is always a safe haven like the Bangtan family there to support them”
Bangtan Shef’s also supports and feeds stray animals on a daily basis “HE WHO FEEDS A HUNGRY ANIMAL, FEEDS HIS OWN SOUL’ quotes Charlie Chaplin. In our busy schedule, we sometimes never give a second thought to animals like cats, dogs wandering in our neighborhood and generally tend to ignore them but we don’t realize that what we forget as humans is that we have a responsibility to help, care and look after the needy and helpless creatures who depend on us, we would like the upcoming generation to extend help plus learn the importance to help the voiceless on the streets”
