“People around me know how deeply I cherish this day, and I often receive more calls and wishes for Shivaratri than on my birthday. The divine union of Shiv and Shakti, two opposing forces coming together, feels like the world’s first and greatest love story. I am truly inspired and fascinated by the profound love shared between Maa Parvati and Shivji,” she added.

She feels Lord Shiva’s guidance and love in her life every single day. She said, “Even if I may not fully understand His divine plan, I believe He is protecting me from many unseen dangers and harms.”

She spoke about the Uttarakhand disaster and said, “I often recall the time when I somehow escaped the disaster at the very moment I was chanting the Mahamrityunjay Mantra. That experience deepened my love and devotion for Mahadev even more.”

Rhythm shared that she has learned a lot through Mahadev’s guidance and added, “I strive to imbibe His qualities in my own life. In the same spirit, I wish to learn how to channel my restlessness, overcome my tendency to feel overwhelmed, and better manage my stress and emotions.”

She observes a fast on Maha Shivaratri and said, “Primarily for spiritual cleansing and to gain a sense of control over my senses. Not only on Maha Shivaratri, but I also fast every Monday for Mahadev. It enhances my inner vibrations and serves as a calming pause in my otherwise fast-moving week.”

“For me, Shivaratri is truly a celebration. We usually perform the Rudra Abhishek puja at home, followed by peaceful meditation and mantra chanting. I stay awake all night, immersing myself in meditation and the sacred vibrations of the mantras,” she added.

Rhythm has been chanting the Om Namah Shivaya mantra since childhood. She said, “I have long lost count of how many times I’ve recited it. Whenever I feel like I’m losing myself or feel lost in life, this mantra is the one thing that gives me strength. It fills me with a profound and powerful sense of balance and instantly restores an unshakable faith that everything will be alright.”

She concluded by sharing the lesson from Lord Shiva’s life that inspires her the most. “It is his perfect balance of शक्ति and शांति, power and peace. He teaches me to stay calm in chaos, stand firm for truth, and transform negativity into strength rather than letting it consume me,” she ended.
