Pranic and Crystal Healer Pooja Seth has voiced strong concerns about the rising emotional pressure on today’s youth, linking it directly to the growing obsession with social media validation. Speaking about how digital culture is shaping behaviour, she said that the younger generation is struggling to cope with the emotional demands of the online world.
“Young minds today are under a lot of pressure as they lack emotional maturity,” she noted, adding that the constant chase for attention and approval is harming mental well-being. She pointed out that reels and short-form content are influencing behaviour at an alarming rate. “People are just looking for validation, and reels affect our behaviour as well.”
She further emphasised the dangers of viral stunts performed solely for online popularity. According to her, stricter measures are needed to curb such trends. “People must be stopped who perform such dangerous stunts, and others should not get influenced by them,” she said, stressing that the need for views and likes is pushing individuals into risky behaviour.
Reminding youngsters of the fragility of life, Pooja added, “People forget that we have only one life and are just crazy behind reels.” Her remarks come at a time when several incidents across the country have raised questions about the impact of online trends on impressionable audiences. Pooja believes awareness and responsibility—both from creators and viewers—are crucial to ensure that social media remains a space for creativity rather than danger.
