Stuti Vinkle, known for her portrayal of the innocent and naive Phooli in Sun Neo’s show Saajha Sindoor, is taking her acting skills to the next level by stepping into a double role in the show. Recently, Stuti has been seen in a surprising new role, portraying the character of Katari, a complex and negative personality. Transitioning between these two drastically different roles is a challenge Stuti has embraced with excitement, transforming herself to capture the essence of each character.

When I first got to know about the character of Katari, I was nervous. I never imagined I could take on a negative role because I’ve always been a bit scared of them. I’d think, “Can I really pull this off?” But as I started exploring Katari’s character and understanding how to bring her to life, it became fun. It felt like a challenge I was ready to accept.”
She further expressed her thoughts on transitioning between Phooli and Katari, saying, “Switching from positive roles to playing someone as negative as Katari was a big transition for me. I had to work on my voice, my walk, and small gestures unique to Katari. Even my expressions changed—I had to hold intense eye contact in a way that made me look really menacing! There were moments where I struggled to hold onto that negative vibe, but slowly, it all fell into place. Seeing how much everyone liked it boosted my confidence.”
Stuti Vinkle stars as Phooli in Saajha Sindoor, capturing hearts with her compelling on-screen chemistry with Sahil Uppal, who plays Gagan. The show follows the evolving marital journey of Phooli and Gagan, while Saroj, portrayed by Sangita Ghosh, plots to create discord between them. Saajha Sindoor airs on Sun Neo every Monday to Saturday at 8:00 PM.
